Several new and returning shows are sweeping the nation by storm. Here’s our opinion on some of the best shows on television.

 New Television Shows:

• Pretty Wicked-Numerous women tricked into a reality show about finding their inner beauty.(Hosted by CariDee English)

 

• 90210- The zip code says it all, rich high school students having fun and causing trouble in Beverly Hills.

 

• Taking the Stage- A MTV show that focuses on the personal lives of talented students attending a Performing Arts School.

 

Returning Television Shows

• Bad Girls Club- Eight rebellious girls are picked to live in a house to change their bad ways.

 

• Gossip Girl-Based on the best selling series by Cecily von Ziegesar, which describes the lives of wealthy teenagers living on the Upper Eastside of New York.

 

• One Tree Hill- Childhood friends facing the struggles of life as an adult.

 

• The Secret Life of the American Teenager-15 year old, Amy Jergens, deals with life as a pregnant teen.

 

• America’s Next Top Model- 20 gorgeous women chosen from all over the US to compete for a shot at being America’s Next Top Model.(Hosted by Tyra Banks)

 

• American Idol- Talented singers battle it out for a major recording contract.(Hosted by Ryan Seacrest)

 

• Grey’s Anatomy- Aspiring doctors try to find the balance between work and their love life while saving the lives of others.

 

• House- A smart witted doctor pushes the envelope by solving numerous unknown medical conditions in a prominent hospital.

 

• Dancing with the Stars- Celebrities compete in a dancing competition with professional ballroom dancers by their sides.

 

• The Hills- A reality show that follows the life Lauren Conrad and her friends as they face conflicts while living on their own in Los Angeles.
