Pet Stories

This past week we interviewed a few students and teachers around the school and asked them what type of pets they have. Here are the results we received.
Josh Williams is a senior and he has a dog that is a Chihuahua, fox terrior cross. Dodger is a male with short black hair. Dodger likes to sleep, go camping, and he likes to listen to Lil Wayne.
Hannah Grice is a junior and she has three dogs. Mattie is a tan poodle, Bobear is a black poodle and Nelly is a brown lab. Mattie and Bobear are groomed once a month. Hannah’s father takes Nelly hunting. Mattie and Bobear also like to eat.
Hugh Smith is a senior and he has a black lab named Buckwheat. Buckwheat is a boy. Buckwheat likes to hunt, ride the four-wheeler, and swim any where there is water. Buckwheat sometimes makes a mess in the back of Hugh’s truck and Hugh gets very mad.
Phil Dickinson is a senior who has a male chocolate lab whose name is Hide. Hide like to play with bugs, play in the pool, and ride in the back of his car with his tongue hanging out.
Now here our a few teachers at AHS who have pets:
Mr. Thomas has a bunch of animals but we interviewed him about his cats. Cisco is grey, brown, and white. He likes to sit in Mr. Thomas’s lap and eat. Pud Thai is a black tabby who likes to drink out of Mr. Thomas’s bird bath and catch small rodents.
Mrs. Holland has a cockatiel named Sunny. He is grey and white with a yellow head and orange cheeks. Sunny is scared of hand, dances to music videos, and eats croutons out of hands. A really neat fact about Sunny is he was named after Sunny off of General Hospital.
Coach Franklin has several interesting pets. He has a yellow lab named Zeus. Zeus loves water and Coach Franklin cannot keep him out of the pool. Peanut is a Jack Russell Terrier. He is white with brown markings Peanut loves to sleep in Coach Franklin’s outside chair and he is very protective. Garfield is a black cat with a white spot. His name used to be Smokey, but because Garfield is so lazy they changed his name. Garfield is also extremely friendly. Last but not least is Coach Franklin’s rabbit Thumper. Thumper likes to fight or play with Peanut and Thumper loves lettuce.
