President Obama has found another way to use the internet. He found a way to bring questions to the White House. Obama launched an online town hall meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2009, in order to answer citizens’ questions about the struggling economy. The website to this meeting was www.WhiteHouse.gov. Participants could submit questions and vote on other people’s questions until 9:30 a.m. President Obama promised to answer the most popular questions live on the web at 11:30 a.m. As of Wednesday, there were more than 1 million votes. Obama is trying to connect to Americans and show that he does care about their opinions towards the recession.
