Golf Team goes to State

       The Aynor High School golf team went to the state tournament on Monday 5/11/09 and Tuesday 5/12/09 at True Blue Plantation in Pawley’s Island.  The top 5 varsity players were allowed to miss school for the two days, and both of the days were counted as excused absences.  The golf team finished in fourth place in the tournament, and the winner of the state tournament was Waccamaw.  Waccamaw’s home course is True Blue Plantation, so they knew how to play the course better than the other teams which gave them the leading hand.
