Competition Cheerleading Update

On October 17th, the Aynor Varsity Competition Cheerleading Squad received the first place trophy at Warrior Cheer Classic at Waccamaw High School. The competition was close as the Aynor Squad competed against four other squads including Waccamaw, Marion, Battesburg Leesville, and Cathedral Academy. This was the first 1st place win of the season and the girls did a great job in this competition. The Aynor Squad is now eligible to compete at the Lower State Competition on November 12th.
On October 24th, the Aynor Varsity Competition Cheerleading Squad received second place at the Conway Cheer Challenge. Aynor competed against Waccamaw and came in second place. Senior Carolyn Johnson says, “Even though we got second, I know in my heart we were the winners of that competition!”. Aynor will be competing for the Region title Thursday, November 5.
