People have many opinions about texting while driving. Some people text while driving and don’t consider how it would affect there lives. Some people say it is okay, but it is not okay to text and drive at the same time. If you can text without looking down at your phone, it shouldn’t be a big deal. I know that it could cause a wreck because having to have one off hand on the wheel, but I think people who can’t text without looking should know better. You still should not text if you are driving. Eddie Alterman showed that texting while driving had a greater impact on safety than driving drunk. While legally drunk, Alterman’s stopping distance from 70 mph increased by 4 feet; by contrast, reading an email added 36 feet; and sending a text added 70 feet. A large number of countries band all cell phone use while driving (talking and texting). A stimulation study at the Monash University Accident Research center provided strong evidence that retrieving and, sending teat messages had a detrimental effect on a number of safety-critical driving measures.
Can be very dangerous!!!

Its very dangerous, should be against the law. Heard stories about a conductor of a train texting while working, it caused people to get hurt in an accident. It’s stupid to text while driving. Not only does it risk their lives but others too.
