Thursday April, 22nd the seniors left for their trip to Disney Grad Nite 2010! We arrived at our destination Friday morning and visited the Disney Parks all day Friday and Saturday. We had dinner Saturday night at the Rainforest Café. Following dinner we went to Magic Kingdom for the Grad Nite Celebration until 4 A.M. One memory that sticks out in my mind is when we were stuck on the interstate for two hours and we made up a parody to “Party in the USA” called “Party on the Interstate”. The Trip all together was a blast! It was filled with many memories none of us will ever forget!

Bye,Bye,Birdie was recently performed for four days at our school. It was help April 15-18 and was a huge success. Bye,Bye,Birdie was a musical comedy based on superstart Conrad Birdie. Conrad is going into the army and he gets to kiss one lucky girl. If you missed it you truly missed something worth your while. The play was very entertaining and it kept you laughing. Many people in our community and from other areas came out to watch Bye,Bye,Birdie. We recently caught up with a few people and asked them what they thought about Bye,Bye,Birdie.

Hope For Change
Many things have changed in the last few years here at AHS. Most of the changes have occured in the last year. New principal, new assistant principal, no water in class, and more rules. Although summer is vastly approaching a few students here at AHS would still like to see a better change in the future. Hopefully if the administrators would take these things into consideration it would make AHS a better place for students to enjoy and AHS could really be the best school in the state. Here are some student opinions on what they think should change here at AHS!!

Corwin Habeck-10th
I hope we can eat in class or drink in class

Travis Phipps-10th
A longer break

Jordan Goewey-11th
I guess I’d like more breaks during the day

Taylor Edwards-11th
stereotypes. People need to be more open to people who are different than them.

Miranda Lane-9th
maybe not to be so strict on the whole cell phone rule. and to allow students to use cell phones at lunch, break, and before classes.

Courtney Vanover-12th
Def the water thing. Have a break. More senior privledges. More school sponsered activities like pep rallies, bon fires, etc. And incentives to make us want to do better in school.
